Window Tunnel
Materials: Graphite pencil, India ink, watercolors, colored pencil
Size: 34in x 22in
Time Spent: 2 weeks
Completed: May 27, 2021
This work was my final project for Drawing 101. Our challenge was to create an architectural environment, either indoor or outdoor, from our imagination. I have always been inspired by stained glass and Gothic architecture, so I gathered images of stained glass windows and church hallways, including images I took myself. After I completed the drawing, the lines of light looked too sharp, so I blurred my final image through editing to make the light look softer.
